Tasting Dinners
The Weinhaus is proud to partner with local restaurants in WNC in creating some really spectacular wine tasting dinners. The prices listed below are inclusive of all gratuities and taxes. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Weinhaus. We encourage you to plan ahead as some dinners can fill up quickly. If you have a reservation and your plans change, please call us as soon as possible, as we have a 48 hour cancellation policy. We understand that things often come up at the last minute, but because of the group nature of our events, our partner restaurants are often required to purchase the evening's menu in advance.
Friday, January 20, 2012 – Grovewood Café.
We will dine on a five course meal prepared by Chef/Owner Larry Waldrop in his the beautiful stone dinning room. Great food, fine wine, good company, and excellent service provide a superb way to start the weekend.

Thursday, February 16 - Posana Café. Chef/Owner Peter Pollay will again bring his locally sourced farm-to-table sensibilities to a Weinhaus paired dinner. We intentionally scheduled this gathering as a Valentine’s Day alternative. Avoid the crowds and inflated price-fixe dinner prices of the holiday itself. Join us for a coarsed meal with five wines at a cost which includes all tax and gratuity. Give your sweetie the gift of fine dining.

Wednesday, March 14 – The Market Place. As an Asheville institution The Market Place is moving in innovative, new directions under Chef/Owner William Dissen. After graduating from the CIA, William honed his skills at the prestigious Greenbrier Resort. From there he made his way through the low country cuisine of Charleston before coming to Asheville to pursue his farm-to-table vision of dining. We look forward to pairing wines with his five coarse culinary creation.

Tuesday, April 3 – Corner Kitchen.
The Corner Kitchen has provided us with a string of fantastic wine dinners. We love the atmosphere and service, but most of all we love their meticulous cuisine. It is always a pleasure to pair wines with menus that offer such exquisite attention to detail. Sign up early, as this event consistently fills to capacity.
